TREE OF LIFE PERFORMANCE WITH POETIC THEATER PRODUCTIONS

Performed at Poetic Open Sessions! The piece is titled "Tree of LIfe - For Sebastiao and Leila." This is an homage to the life of this remarkable couple from Brazil who regrew nearly 3 million trees in the Brazilian rainforest with the formation of their organization Instituto Terra. Filipino-American Actor based in NYC
Philippe was born in Iloilo City, Philippines and moved to New Jersey, USA just as he turned 8 years old. He is proud and grateful for his immigrant roots as it has informed much of his life and career. He had continued to pursue a wide variety of roles in his high school years in local community theater productions. He also trained in Karate and Judo while learning to play Violin, Piano, and Guitar. He attend Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts where he pursued his degree in BFA for Visual Arts. He studied Mixed Media, Performance Art, and Theater. He also started writing original Spoken Word poetry and has published several poems included in multiple compendiums. He has performed in Off-Broadway and Regional Theater Productions. He has written and featured in various Spoken Word Productions including the long running Poetic People Power Annual Shows; Tagalogue original stories by Filipino-American artists. He was a founding of member of non-profit Pilipino-American Unity for Progress (UNIPRO) a Filipino Young Professional Organization with National Chapters across the United States that specializes in fostering dialogue and education about Filipino-American issues. He is also a Professional Mixologist and Bartender affiliated with world renowned restaurant Jeepney Filipino Gastropub in NYC. His cocktails have been featured on CBS, ABC, and The James Beard Awards. He is building up his film credits with some background roles, short films, and webseries. He is always learning and is currenty training in Krav Maga, Improv, Voiceover, Film, and Commercials. He is grateful to have your support and is looking forward to meeting all of his goals and dreams.
